Charity Commission intervene
The Charity Commission have finally stepped in and demanded that the Trustees formally ask for permission to sell the Hall. This is important as it means that when the Hall went up for sale, the Trustees did NOT have the authority to sell the Hall. How was this presented to potential sellers?
Wilson's Open Day - 25th June
Wilson's are holding and Open Day between 2pm and 5.30pm on Thursday 25th June. We will be there to ask them some questions over their potential purchase and also make sure they are clear about the local opposition. We are very interested in what they will say. Please come along and express your own opinion over a commercial enterprise taking over a valued community facility.
